Who We Are
Welcome to the East Alabama Chamber of Commerce—where business meets community, and relationships turn into collaborations!
About
We’re proud to serve the communities in East Alabama and beyond. Our mission? To build strong relationships in our community that support and grow regional business. That means supporting local businesses, creating opportunities, and making East Alabama an even better place to live, work, and thrive.
Think of us as your business’s biggest cheerleader. Whether you’re a brand-new startup, a family-owned favorite, or a well-established company, we’re here to help you grow. From networking events and educational programs to ribbon cuttings and community celebrations, we bring people together to make things happen.
At the heart of it all, we believe in relationships. We believe in lifting each other up, celebrating big wins (and small ones, too), and building a region where business and community go hand in hand.
So come on in, get involved, and let’s grow East Alabama—together!
Public Policy
Advocacy is a vital part of the East Alabama Chamber’s mission. We work to stay informed, engaged, and connected on local, state, and national issues that may impact our business community.
Through our advocacy efforts, we serve as a voice for our members, helping ensure that the needs and concerns of East Alabama businesses are heard clearly and consistently by elected officials and community leaders.
The East Alabama Chamber proudly collaborates with the Opelika Chamber and Auburn Chamber on public policy initiatives and regional advocacy efforts that strengthen our business climate and support economic growth across East Alabama.
While we are not lobbyists, we believe it is essential to represent the collective interests of our business community. Our Public Policy efforts focus on building relationships with elected officials, monitoring issues that affect business and industry, and creating opportunities for members to engage in meaningful conversations about the future of our region.
The East Alabama Chamber is committed to keeping the best interests of our businesses at the forefront.
East Alabama Chamber Foundation
The East Alabama Chamber Foundation is the driving force behind the Chamber’s mission to develop leaders and strengthen the communities we call home. As the Chamber’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Foundation creates impact through leadership programs, scholarships, and community-focused initiatives that help East Alabama thrive.
